Cette jonction constitue le point de mesure (jonction chaude). L&#039;autre extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 est appel\u00e9e jonction froide.<\/p><p>L&#039;\u00e9chauffement de la jonction de mesure provoque une tension \u00e9lectrique, approximativement proportionnelle \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature. (Effet thermo\u00e9lectrique, effet Seebeck). Cette tension (force \u00e9lectromotrice EMF) est due \u00e0 deux facteurs : la densit\u00e9 d&#039;\u00e9lectrode diff\u00e9rente des deux mat\u00e9riaux et la diff\u00e9rence de temp\u00e9rature entre le point chaud et le point froid.<\/p><p>Cela signifie qu&#039;un thermocouple ne mesure pas la temp\u00e9rature absolue mais la temp\u00e9rature diff\u00e9rentielle entre :<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1149 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.srcsl.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/news_termopar2-300x94-1.jpg\" alt=\"news_thermocouple2\" width=\"300\" height=\"94\" \/><\/p><p>Jonction chaude T1<br \/>Jonction froide T2<\/p><p>\u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que la mesure de la tension \u00e9lectrique est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement effectu\u00e9e \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante, la valeur de tension indiquerait une valeur de temp\u00e9rature trop basse puisque la temp\u00e9rature ambiante est soustraite. Pour maintenir la valeur de la temp\u00e9rature absolue, une &quot;compensation de soudure froide&quot; est appliqu\u00e9e.<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1150 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.srcsl.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/news_termopar1.jpg\" alt=\"news_thermocouple1\" width=\"195\" height=\"195\" \/>Autrefois (dans certains laboratoires d&#039;\u00e9talonnage encore aujourd&#039;hui), cette compensation se faisait en plongeant la pointe froide dans un bain de glace.<\/p><p>Dans les instruments modernes avec entr\u00e9e thermocouple (par ex. transmetteurs, compteurs portables ou instruments mont\u00e9s sur panneau, etc.), une compensation \u00e9lectronique de soudure froide est incorpor\u00e9e.<\/p><p>Chaque m\u00e9tal a une \u00e9lectron\u00e9gativit\u00e9 sp\u00e9cifique. (Electron\u00e9gativit\u00e9 = tendance des atomes \u00e0 attirer ou \u00e9mettre des \u00e9lectrons)<\/p><p>Pour obtenir une contrainte thermique maximale, des combinaisons sp\u00e9cifiques de mat\u00e9riaux sont appliqu\u00e9es pour cr\u00e9er des thermocouples avec des \u00e9lectron\u00e9gativit\u00e9s tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes. Ces combinaisons de mat\u00e9riaux pr\u00e9sentent certaines limites, dues par exemple \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature d&#039;application maximale.<\/p><p>Les normes suivantes d\u00e9finissent les thermocouples\u00a0:<\/p><ul><li>CEI 60584-1 : Thermocouples - Valeurs de base des tensions thermiques<\/li><li>CEI 60584-2 : Thermocouples - \u00c9carts limites des contraintes thermiques<\/li><li>CEI 60584-3 : Thermocouples : C\u00e2bles thermocouples et c\u00e2bles de compensation<\/li><\/ul><p>ASTM E230\u00a0:<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.srcsl.com\/staging\/catalogoPDFs\/AreaTecnica\/Codigos_colores_Termopares.pdf\">Tableaux avec sp\u00e9cification standard et force \u00e9lectromotrice (EMF) pour thermocouples standardis\u00e9s.<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a7df099 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a7df099\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">QUELS TYPES DE THERMOCOUPLES EXISTE-T-IL ?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4976971 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4976971\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Les thermocouples sont disponibles dans diff\u00e9rentes combinaisons de m\u00e9taux ou \u00e9talonnages pour s&#039;adapter \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes applications. Les trois plus courants sont les \u00e9talonnages de type J, K et T, dont le thermocouple de type K est le plus populaire en raison de sa large plage de temp\u00e9ratures et de son faible co\u00fbt. Le thermocouple de type K a un fil positif en nickel-chrome et un fil n\u00e9gatif en nickel-aluminium.<\/p><p>Il existe des \u00e9talonnages de type R, S, B, G, C et D pour haute temp\u00e9rature qui offrent des performances jusqu&#039;\u00e0 2320\u00b0 C. Ceux-ci sont en m\u00e9taux pr\u00e9cieux (platine\/rhodium et tungst\u00e8ne\/rh\u00e9nium) et sont donc relativement co\u00fbteux.<\/p><p>Chaque \u00e9talonnage a une plage de temp\u00e9rature et un environnement de travail diff\u00e9rents. Bien que l&#039;\u00e9talonnage du thermocouple dicte la plage de temp\u00e9rature, la plage maximale est \u00e9galement limit\u00e9e par le diam\u00e8tre du fil du thermocouple.
